Physics 134 -- Advanced Topics in Quantum Mechanics

Physics 134 was a one-quarter course in Quantum Mechanics given by Michael Peskin during the Spring 2012 term at Stanford University. This is the third quarter of Stanford's three quarter undergraduate Quantum Mechanics sequence.

The course emphasized scattering and other time-dependent phenomena described by quantum theory. The course began with a thorough discussion of scattering of particles from a potential but then broadened its view to include decay processes, resonances, and more general reactions. A brief chapter at the end introduced band structure in solids.
