FSW Requirement 5.4.1 (prev, next)
Req. 5.4.1: "System of Units"The LAT shall conform to the observatory requirement to observe the current NASA policy directive, NPD 8010.2C, "Use of the Metric System of Measurement in NASA programs". For all external command and telemetry interfaces, the LAT FSW shall use metric units with the following exceptions: Angular measure may be expressed in degrees, minutes, and seconds; Photon and particle energy may be expressed in eV; and English units may be used for mechanical fabrication.
