The entries in the Basis section of each requirement page provide information on the documents and sections that form the basis for the requirement. Most requirements are taken, more or less directly, from one or more NASA or vendor documents. The rest are "derived" from other requirements.

Whenever a document number (e.g., "[4]") is mentioned, the bibliographic information for that document is given. If a particular section (e.g., "5.3.4") is specified for the requirement, the title and text for the section are displayed.

Document Availability

• "LAT-..." documents are stored in the LATDocs system; the document number in the basis entry is a link to the current version.

• "NASA 433-..." documents are available at NASA's GLAST "Master Controlled Documents List" page: http://glast.gsfc.nasa.gov/project/cm/mcdl.

• "1196 EI-..." documents are ITAR-controlled, available via Spectrum Astro's password-protected site.
