FSW Requirement 5.3.1.9 (prev, next)

Req. 5.3.1.9: "Boot Housekeeping"

During primary boot of a unit, the FSW shall send Boot Housekeeping telemetry to the spacecraft via the CTDB, as defined in [9]. Note that EPUs depend on SIUs to forward this data to the spacecraft.

Basis (help)

[2] (3.2.6.2.2), [4] (5.5.3)

      3.2.6.2.2: "LAT Housekeeping Data"

The LAT shall provide the SC a housekeeping data set as defined in the SC-LAT ICD.

      5.5.3: "Health Data Readout"

The dataflow system shall readout and process health data from the CAL, TKR, ACD, TRG, dataflow, and power supply systems.

Function(s)

Test(s)

    009a: FSW and LAT initialization

This test shall verify that the SIU and EPU(s) can correctly boot themselves, report system errors during primary boot in housekeeping telemetry, establish a reference state based upon information in non-volatile storage, signal boot status over a discrete line to the SC (SIU only), and then power and initialize the remaining LAT subsystems in an orderly manner, resulting in a known reference state at the end of the process. This state shall be verified through internal configuration read back and LAT telemetry. The test shall also verify that the SIU and EPU(s) can write a boot error log and return the contents of the log in telemetry, on command.
