GR Windows builds (Joanne) For some time now TkrRecon has failed to build in Windows RM builds. The reason: the bindexplib command (needed to make public symbols available) is too long. With over 90 source cxx files, TkrRecon is much larger than its nearest competitor. The usual work-around is to write the command arguments to a temp file and pass that file to the command. SCons knows to do this for compile and link commands, but it won't work in general since not all commands can read input from a file. Possible courses of action:
So far, we are gravitating to minimal work: give up on SCons Windows build of GR. The "fix bindexplib command" solutions would be preferable but I can't guarantee that I could get any of them to work and won't have time to investigate further for several weeks at least.

Mac, RHEL5-32, and Windows have all migrated to use Jenkins thanks to Tony and Tom S. RHEL5-64 and RHEL-64 are working with LSF9. The new Mac box has arrived and is being configured by David Leung. All builds on this box, will have to occur locally as the Windows builds do, and then the resulting tar.gz files will be copied over to u35.
