Here are the data structures with brief descriptions:

_DFC	A gathering place for all the information needed to drive the filter
_DFC_cfg	Control structure for the filtering process
_DFC_cfgPrms	Union of all the versions of the configuration parameter structure
_DFC_cfgSampler	Marries sampler with a tag identifer
_DFC_result	Describes the event-by-event results of the Minimum Ionizing Particle filtering process for the instrumented and development version of the filtering code
_DFC_stats	Accumulates the statistics from the event-by-event results of the heavy ion filtering process
