\begin{frame}{Status update}
    \begin{itemize}
        \item Last week:
            \begin{itemize}
                \item Monday+Tuesday: finish DP1 repair
                \item Wednesday--Thursday: DP2 repair
                \item Friday: cleanup, power system
            \end{itemize}
        \item This week: plans for DP1 re-installation in our absence
    \end{itemize}
\end{frame}

\begin{frame}{Repairs}
    \begin{itemize}
        \item DP1 and DP2 both tested with scope
            \begin{itemize}
                \item Look for reasonable response to pulser and cosmics, single-photon pulses (dark current)
            \end{itemize}
        \item DP2 tested with V1495 DAQ (V1495 trigger)
            \begin{itemize}
                \item Measure efficiency with downward cosmics (multiple adjacent bars hit), look for uniform efficiency
            \end{itemize}
        \item Problems found and fixed:
            \begin{itemize}
                \item Plastic burrs in the grommet ($\sim$30)
                \item DIscriminator width set too narrow (most of DP2)
                \item One WLS fiber does not reach the SiPM (1)
                \item Signal cables swapped at patch panel (1 pair)
            \end{itemize}
        \item Problems created and fixed:
            \begin{itemize}
                \item Broken pulser fiber (1)
                \item Power ribbon unplugged (2)
                \item Dead preamp (1)
            \end{itemize}
    \end{itemize}

    \begin{columns}
        \column{0.6\textwidth}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item Vertical I-beams rest on the floor: bears the weight
            \item Feet are secured by floor anchors: prevents sliding
            \item Crossbeam is secured by outrigger beams from FMag: prevents toppling
            \item All mounting hardware is 5/16 bolts and 1.5-inch 80/20
        \end{itemize}

\begin{frame}{Changes to DP1}
    \begin{columns}
        \column{0.6\textwidth}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item Each I-beam moves out (beam-left/right) by 4"
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item No obstructions in the plane of the I-beams, so this is OK
                    \item Spacer blocks have been added to the floor anchors
                \end{itemize}
            \item The volume that sticks into KMag is also $\pm$4" wider because of the spacer blocks/plates
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item Closest interference is the protective cover for the KMag connections
                \end{itemize}

    \begin{columns}
        \column{0.6\textwidth}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item DP1 is on sawhorses on the loading dock, with the downstream side facing up
            \item Cables have been bundled and tied to the I-beams
            \item Outrigger bars have been pushed upstream so they don't get in the way
        \end{itemize}

\begin{frame}{DP1 re-install: tools}
    \begin{columns}
        \column{0.6\textwidth}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item Bolts, tools, and shims are ready
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item 80/20 bolts and Allen keys to attach the crossbeam to the outriggers
                    \item 5/16 bolts and 1/2`` wrenches to attach the feet
                    \item I think I forgot 80/20 nuts! Unless the crossbeam already has nuts glued in place, need four double nuts; these (and lots of other extra hardware) are in a box on the bottom shelf of the DP shelving unit in the counting house
                \end{itemize}

\begin{frame}{DP1 re-install: part 1/2}
    \begin{columns}
        \column{0.65\textwidth}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item Procedure is similar to 2017, and is the reverse of how we uninstalled DP1 last week
            \item Get it off the loading dock: reverse last week's procedure
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item Lift it flat to put it on the floor, then rig the spreader bar to the crossbeam
                \end{itemize}
            \item Bring it into rough position
        \end{itemize}

    \end{columns}
\end{frame}

\begin{frame}{DP1 re-install: part 2/2}
    \begin{columns}
        \column{0.6\textwidth}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item In 2017 we had four people on the floor (in addition to crane operator): one person at each foot, one person at each end of the crossbeam (scissor lift and one-person lift)
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item I think the minimum is two people (so you can guide both feet into place), and the one-person lift
                \end{itemize}
            \item Bring the feet down at the anchor blocks, insert shims, bolt down loosely
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item Need shims (we had two 1/8" shims on each foot), bolts, 1/2" wrenches
                \end{itemize}
            \item Bring the I-beams vertical, bolt on the outriggers
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item Need 80/20 bolts and nuts, Allen keys
                \end{itemize}
            \item Tighten down the feet
        \end{itemize}
        \column{0.4\textwidth}
        \includegraphics[width=\textwidth]{DSCN3827}

        \includegraphics[width=\textwidth]{DSCN3846}
    \end{columns}
\end{frame}

\begin{frame}{Backup: reverting the mounting changes}
        \begin{itemize}
            \item Put DP1 back on the sawhorses
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item Again make sure the sawhorses are under the corner brackets
                \end{itemize}
            \item One side at a time:
                \begin{itemize}
                    \item Support the middle brackets with a jack
                    \item Remove the spacer blocks and plates
                    \item Loosen the 80/20 bolts at the crossbeam, now the I-beams are free
                    \item Bolt the I-beams to the upstream brackets (might have to move cables to reach the bolt holes), tighten the crossbeam bolts
                \end{itemize}
            \item Remember to take the spacer blocks off the floor anchors
        \end{itemize}
