The top tiles in rows 0 and 4 (i.e., top tiles with max or min Y displacement) curve around, as shown in this CAD picture:

but, up till now, the geometry description substituted flat tiles whose X and Y dimensions were those of the projection of the actual tiles. As of xmlGeoDbs tag v1r30, each such tile has an additional component like the green volume in this FRED picture. |

Here is another FRED picture showing all ACD components. In it all the regular tile volumes are blue and ribbons are yellow. ACD support volumes are purple. The new tile volumes are green (some of them are solid and others are wire-frame to make it easier to see boundaries). The red volumes are new bits of ribbon which also improve the fidelity of the model, albeit only very slightly.
This muon event caused an MC hit in one of the new tile volumes. Some small changes may be needed to idents::AcdId in order to recognize these hits.
