package instrument

This package is used for the following

• To define detectors used in the simulation, for which it is a client of the package GlastMedia. See the inheritance tree GlastDetector.
• For reading back the IRF files that are created during the simulation phase. The class Instrument provides an interface for this.
• Creating the data classes from the glastsim-style reconstruction. See DataConverter, which contains an instance of VetoData, SiData, and CsIData, and will fill them by traversing the GlastDetector hierarchy.
