Core Minutes 12/17/2013
ScienceTools: (Jim) There are two items:
See Science Tools Development Notes for details.
FSSC: (Tom S.) Upgrades were made to the data server for better error handling and performance; no other news.
Pass8 Reprocessing: (Tom G.) Pass8 L&EO reprocessing is complete. He's hopeful FITS files will be done today; otherwise tomorrow.
Once new event classes are defined there will be a round of merit, but that won't happen until next year.
New GR tag (Richard) Perfection has been reached? (Carmelo) Not perfection, but good enough. (Heather) Package tags are accumulating; she might make a HEAD.
Mountain Lion (Heather) There was a Mac meeting yesterday. We believe CVS access is now fixed.
(Tom S.) Is dones with all externals except ROOT. It builds, but when he tries to supply the proper flags (e.g. to tell it where to find Python), it fails. (Heather) We could consider advancing the ROOT version. (Tom S.) believes the problem is in configuration rather than source code.
RM for rhel5 32-bit (Jim) Builds are still failing. (Heather) and we need them to work for the upcoming GR tag! (Tom S.) Thinks the Jenkins processes need to be restarted.
[Post-meeting Tony J. suggested
I think the problem is that the NFS automounter is stuck on the bldlnx machines, perhaps a side effect of the disk changes that were made while I was away. I will report to unix-admin.and later
The mounts are unstuck, and I reran the most recent build (--buildId 22514) and it was successful.
however, as Heather pointed out, the new build is not (yet?) visible from the RMII gui.]
