Core Minutes 9/21/2010ScienceTools: (Jim) There have been some bug fixes to HEAD; a new tag is anticipated toward the end of this week. There is a new tag of tip for VS 2008. The unit test is failing on either 32- or 64-bit SCons builds (rhel4/5) for non-obvious reasons.
FSSC: (Eric W.) v9r18p3 has been imported. Python 2.6.5 and a numpy update are installed.
Documentation: (Chuck) Activity on xwin32 updates, and beginning work on new section.
Astroserver update: (Tom) Problems from last week have been solved (rhel5 memory management tuning and improved Oracle query with "hints"). The lengthy RSP query time decreased from hours/days to less than one minute.
There is currently a very temporary, patched version of the astroserver available to command-line users (only): ~glast/astroserver/prod/astro-temp-patch (Ref: email to HELPSOFT on 8/20/2010)
A new production astroserver is expected late this week which incorporates the fixes from last week and updates to support Pass 7.3 reprocessed data.
skimmer update: (Tom) Regression test files (24, representing about 40 GB) now permanently installed in xroot. New skimmer version (08-01-00) with bug fixes (described last week). See also skimmer release notes.
SCons RM (Tom S., Heather) Current activity is focused on commissioning automatic triggering of GR builds.
Start of Snow leopard builds is awaiting availability of suitable batch queue. Heather will follow up.
Gaudi (Heather) Updates are committed and Gleam builds! There are some remaining issues concerning opt vs. debug on rhel4, rhel5.
ASP and SCons (Jim) ASP is now running off the SCons build (for a few days). He has a couple suggestions for Joanne. Need documentation on package override mechanism.
