The image below shows all ribbons as described by the xml geometry. Segments of fixed X are red. Each acutal X-ribbon is artificially divided into 3 pieces: one for the top and one for each of two sides. Segments of fixed Y are magenta. Each actual Y-ribbon is simulated as 7 segments.
