The FSW animations are stored Apple's QuickTime format. QuickTime readers and browser plug-ins are built into the Mac OS X operating system. Downloads are available for other operating system platforms, including other Mac OS and MS Windows variants.

Some SLAC-based users of MS Windows have encountered difficulty in installing Apple's downloadable version of QuickTime. Our local Windows expert (Rodney Wong) says:

The down-level ISScript needed by Symantec anti-virus software may conflict with the newer version of ISScript that is required by QuickTime. To solve this, go to https://xweb.slac.stanford.edu and click on "Solid Edge 14 2 updates available". ISScript Fix will fix the problem.
