This a simple template for ascii files reporting flux measurements. Instrument: RXTE/PCA (http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/xte/rxte.html) Analyzers : David Paneque (dpaneque@slac.stanford.edu) Last file Update: 2008/05/23 General notes: The fluxes reported below are preliminary fluxes from the PCA detector on borad of the RXTE satellite. The flux of the Crab Nebula in the energy range specefied below (1-10 keV) corresponds to 1.94 counts/s per PCU. This is a useful information for comparison purposes. Note that in this example I did not include the fields which are devoted for optical instruments (FILTER and FLUX_HostGalaxy, FLUX_HostGalaxy_ERROR); that is perfectly fine. No observations could be made. This is an example of observation that could not be performed. Note that the QUALITY_FLAG was set to B (bad). The fluxes are set to zero because the instrument was not operative. There could be cases with a non-zero "measured flux" even though the instrument did not perform well. It is important to set the flag to B (bad) so that this point is not used. Note also that in this example I did not include the fields which are devoted for optical instruments (FILTER and FLUX_HostGalaxy, FLUX_HostGalaxy_ERROR); that is perfectly fine. STOP_FLUX_REPORT
